ResilienceBuilders

ResilienceBuilders – Vocational Education and Training for Professionals to Build Resilience aims to strengthen the capacity of teachers, psychologists, social workers and other professionals in the helping professions. It provides training in knowledge and techniques for preventing and responding appropriately to transgressive behaviour, with a particular focus on sensitive issues related to diversity and disharmonious developmental profiles. The overall goal is to contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive educational environment for all learners.

The project includes a needs assessment and the selection of existing evidence-based tools and approaches for working with the target group; training for professionals who will subsequently pass on the knowledge and practical skills they have acquired within their professional networks; dissemination of project results and good practices at European level; and the organisation of a final European conference.

Through ResilienceBuilders, professionals gain practical knowledge and skills for identifying, preventing and managing transgressive behaviour and for addressing sensitive topics with greater confidence. The project promotes cooperation among teachers, psychologists, education professionals and their organisations and seeks to contribute to a safer and more supportive environment for learners, including young people with special needs.

The European ResilienceBuilders project is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 (KA220-VET) – Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training.

The lead organisation, KATHOLIEK ONDERWIJS VLAANDEREN, works in partnership with the Bulgarian Family Planning and Sexual Health Association (BFPA) and H.E.R.A. – Health Education and Research Association, North Macedonia.
