First ResilienceBuilders Working Meeting in Brussels
The first working meeting of the partners in the new ResilienceBuilders project took place in Brussels from 2 to 4 September 2026. BFPA was represented by our colleagues Daniela Dikova and Ralitsa Zgalevska.
The initiative is implemented under the Erasmus+ programme – “Equipping Educators to Address and Prevent Transgressive Behaviour” and aims to prepare professionals, including education specialists, resource teachers and psychologists, to identify transgressive and problematic behaviour at an early stage, prevent it and respond to it effectively.

The meeting was held together with our colleagues from HERA, North Macedonia. The programme included planning of the main project activities, management, quality assurance and risk analysis, as well as discussions on how to disseminate and communicate useful resources and project results and maximise the expected impact of the project.
Over the next three years, we have a great deal of joint work ahead of us, which we believe will bring meaningful and useful results. For BFPA, participation in this project is also an opportunity to build on our previous experience, as we have already worked on related topics through our involvement in international projects. One of the key focuses this time is the dissemination of available resources and encouraging professionals working with children and young people with special needs to use them more actively in their work.
The European ResilienceBuilders project is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 (KA220-VET) – Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training. The lead organisation, KATHOLIEK ONDERWIJS VLAANDEREN, works in partnership with the Bulgarian Family Planning and Sexual Health Association (BFPA) and H.E.R.A. – Health Education and Research Association, North Macedonia.
