Training of Youth and Youth Workers In Pernik

In March 11-13, 2025, we worked with youth and youth workers from the centers in Burgas, Gabrovo, Dupnitsa, Kyustendil, Pernik, Peshtera and Stara Zagora. Our hosts were our colleagues from the International Youth Center in Pernik. We talked about approaches and methods for working with youth. It became clear that the differences between generations are sometimes huge and this leads to a complete discrepancy in the dialogue between today’s young and more experienced parents and various specialists.
The highlights of our work were the topics of critical thinking, disinformation, digital literacy and online security and those related to communication, prevention and health, campaigns and exchange of interactive techniques for working with youth.

The training in digital media literacy, online security and critical thinking is within the framework of our project “Digital Children.
