The young BFPA volunteers – medical students form the Thracian university received support from Youth Bank – Stara Zagora

The “Youth Bank” model is a unique method of involving young people in community beneficial activities. The funds were raised through the already traditional charity event “A Christmas table of united Europe” (which passed under the motto “Young Zagora”) and the eco-initiative “Young and Green” for collecting plastic and paper waste for recycling.
The co-financing of the project was made possible thanks to the support of the Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation and the project “Youth Banks” of the America for Bulgaria Foundation. The projects will be implemented by the end of the year.
The project of the young medical students  is the one with the most modest financing, but it will do good and necessary things – the young medical students, who are BFPA volunteers, as well, will develop and implement a health education program for the boys and girls at the “Bulgarka” institution for children without parental care. The sessions will be interactive and will develop the learning abilities and creativity of the pupils. Good luck, friends! We are very proud of you and will help you with everything needed!
