Pirdop Hosted an Educational Event on Health Prevention and Reproductive Health
Today, with the assistance of the Pirdop Municipality, a health and educational talk on the importance of health prevention and reproductive health was held at the Ivan Minkin Sports Hall. The event, implemented at the initiative of the Center for Public Support – Pirdop and the Local Commission for Combating Antisocial Behavior of Minors and Juveniles at the Pirdop Municipality, is part of the Bulgarian Family Planning Association and Durex #SafeToPlayHub campaign in secondary schools, which educates young people about the risks of unprotected intimate relationships in an interesting and accessible way.
The moderators of the event – popular influencers Elyasa and Melina, opened the meeting with the message to take care of our health, because no matter what we have, we cannot enjoy it if we do not feel well. They spoke in an accessible and close-to-young people way about what happens during maturation, how not to ruin our future with unreasonable actions, what ‘prevention’ means, why it is important to use contraception and much more useful information. The students had the opportunity to ask them questions, and the most active ones received small incentive prizes.
