BFPA participates in the III National Scientific and Practical Conference “The Child and the Children’s World”
On June 1 and June 2, 2026, the National Scientific and Practical Conference “The Child and the Children’s World” was held for the third consecutive year at the Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The conference is dedicated to International Children’s Day – June 1st and is organized and implemented for the second time with the support of UNICEF – Bulgaria. This year’s edition of the forum was part of the events related to the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty of Pedagogy at Sofia University. The conference is organized by a team of lecturers at the Faculty of Pedagogy headed by Senior Assistant Professor Dr. Daniela Racheva.
The conference was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vanya Bozhilova and the UNICEF representative for Bulgaria Ms. Kristina de Broin.
In the direction of “The Child and His Health”, the experience and results of research conducted over the past year were presented by Prof. Dr. Radka Argirova, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tsvetelina Ivanova – Academy of the Ministry of Interior, Department of “Psychology and Police Management”, Dr. Radosveta Stamenkova from the Bulgarian Family Planning and Sexual Health Association, Senior Assistant Dr. Berdzhuhi Yordanova and Assistant Elmira Nesheva from the Faculty of Pedagogy of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Mario Rachev – PhD student of the Medical University – Sofia, Faculty of Public Health and Atanaska Raeva from the Therapeutic Community “Phoenix”.
