Internal Organizational Changes for Improving the Work of Institutions for Young People with Learning Disabilities (YPLD)
Besides new knowledge and approaches to work on topics connected with personal hygiene and health and types of addictions – the main topic was on how to initiate and perform internal organizational changes so that to improve the work on saving reproductive health and the prevention of sexual violence.
Maria Gineva, chairperson of Future for Children Association from Kazanlak, shared experience and good practices as a result of changed attitudes and internal organizational policies after their team was trained two years ago under the project. She prepared for the small group work practical cases from the fieldwork in Kazanlak. New materials to work on hygiene and prevention of diseases were presented. The team of BFPA – dr. Radosveta Stamenkova and Ralitsa Zgalevska, as well Julia Georgieva, chairperson of Center for Humane Practicies, implemented the interactive training.
During 2016 BFPA currently supports organizations with which is working on Keep me Safe project
KEEP ME SAFE is a two year (2013–2015) European initiative, coordinated by the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and co-financed by European Commission (DJ Justice – Program Daphne III).
