Ambassador for a Day 2021 Campaign has begun

Main goals of the initiative are: 1. To stimulate interests of young gilrs from all over Bulgaria towards diplomacy and to give them the opportunity to understand what it is to be an Ambassador. 2. To encourage them to express their vision and opinions on topics of great importance to us all. 
BFPA takes active art in the campaign and supports it form the very beginning. In the last three years winners had the chance to work with a woman ambassador for aday and to participate altogether ib a high level event. In 2019 the thirteen finalists were collaborating not only with women ambassador, but also with women – NGO leaders.The topic of the 2020 campaign was “Bulgaria on the world stage” and finalists took part in an international event in Vienna, where they had the opportunity to see the world of multi-national diplomacy. Vice-President supports the campaign form its start and, in addition to the women Ambassadors, the Vice-President will host young  winners in the Presidency, if Covid-19 pandemic related measures allow. The essays choice  topics this year are four:
• Freedom of media
• Education of Roma
• Environment
• Volunteering
