Six Small Projects in the Frame of LAP Supported

The second edition of the competition for small projects for the members of LAP took place in seeking proposals for the priority area on advocacy and improving policies and legislation frame for better protection. The implementation of the projects is starting during October 2020.
The first part of the initiative ‘small projects’ was implemented earlier this year, it is supporting proposals of other colleagues of the Partnership. They started their realization in the period May – September and are in priority area ‘Changing social attitudes and ‘zero’ tolerance towards the cases of sexual exploitation of children’:
Project ‘Hope for future without violence’ of PULSE Foundation and TULIP Foundation is an initiative aiming to reach communities in small locations and marginalized groups in six locations in Bulgaria.
Project ‘Young people leading the change’ of Applied Research and Communications Foundation is to identify the gaps concerning knowledge about the risks from sexual exploitation of children online and their skills needed to protect and react when problem online.
Project ‘And is that so… ?’ (stories for the power and violence) of Know-How Center for Alternative care of Children of NBU is aiming to give voice and words of children experienced violence and sexual exploitation, as well to empower professionals with knowledge and skills to work with such children.
The so called ‘small’ projects are implemented as part of the initiative of Bulgarian Family Planning and Sexual Health Association (BFPA) ‘The Ability to Change’, supported by OAK Foundation, the main activities of which are to support, prevent and protect children from violence and sexual exploitation.
