“G. is 15 years old. She is pregnant in the four month … with her second child. She gave birth to her first boy at the age of 14. She is one of about five thousand girls in Bulgaria, which are being “married” and their children are born when the girls are between the ages of 13 and 18. No matter of the reasons, they are all children and at the same time – mothers raising their own children. Often they are left without any chance to make choices in their lives and remain in the cycle of illiteracy, unemployment and poverty. And their children, and the children of their children will most likely repeat this model because they will not know that life gives other options. Who are those mothers? “
