The project is implemented by a consortium bringing together Bulgarian Family Planning and Sexual Health Association, National Network of Health Mediators, Dignita Foundation and DA Foundation—four organizations with long-standing expertise in sexual and reproductive health and rights, healthcare access for vulnerable communities, and gender equality.
Launched in December 2025, the project will run for 36 months and aims to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), gender equality, and the prevention of gender-based violence and human trafficking in Bulgaria, with a strong focus on vulnerable and marginalized groups.
Key priorities include improving equitable access to SRHR information and services; empowering women and girls through psychosocial, legal, educational, and employment support; preventing violence and trafficking through targeted awareness and prevention actions; and strengthening institutional and community capacity. The project also invests in training professionals, supporting community-based structures, and fostering cross-sector collaboration to ensure sustainable, long-term impact.
