‘Today, February 26, 2025, students and teachers from the Vocational High School of Management and Food Technology (PGMHT) celebrated Pink Shirt Day as a protest against bullying at school. We also launched our campaign with a presentation on online bullying,’ say the high school students we trained in December.

They presented their presentation to 42 students from 8th and 9th grades. The event was very well received. There was a discussion after the videos. Most of the children had an idea of the dangers of hacking accounts and leaking personal data, as well as the possibility of everyone making collages from other people’s photos. ‘It was very interesting and useful. They learned how to protect their accounts and passwords.’

Maria, Bogomil, Tony from 9th grade and Teodor, Sasho, Raamis, Ivo and Gincho from 10th grade of PGMHT participated in our training in December for peer educators and even then they committed to conducting a campaign not only in their own, but also in several other schools in the area. In addition to the presentation, their team is also working on creating a short film on topics related to online safety, which we look forward to seeing.
We thank them and the teachers who support them in this useful activity, and we wish them success!
