Dr. Radosveta Stamenkova: Health education should also help develop critical thinking

Dr. Radosveta Stamenkova is the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Family Planning and Sexual Health Association. This is a leading non-governmental organization working for over 30 years in health prevention and information, peer education, reproductive health and advocacy for the causes of vulnerable groups. Dr. Stamenkova is also among the founders of the expert HPV Coalition, whose goal is the prevention and eradication of diseases associated with the human papillomavirus (HPV).

We talk to Dr. Stamenkova about the lack of health education, the role of school and the progress in the prevention of cancers caused by HPV.
