Escape room on wheels

For the first time in Bulgaria – “Escape Room on Wheels” (Escape Truck) – an innovative interactive initiative for the prevention of human trafficking and exploitation. From September 19 to October 9, 2025, the Escape Room on Wheels tours 11 cities in the country – Sofia, Botevgrad, Montana, Lukovit, Pleven, Blagoevgrad, Sandanski, Petrich, Kardzhali, Burgas and Varna. Within the framework of the initiative, participants put themselves in the shoes of a victim of trafficking, solve puzzles and interactive tasks to help the virtual hero find a way out. The scenarios are inspired by real stories of people who managed to save themselves and receive support.

Human trafficking is a serious crime and a gross violation of human rights that often remains invisible to society. We usually perceive it as something that happens “somewhere else” and to “other people”. When we encounter information on the subject, we often ask ourselves questions: why do victims not seek help, how did they get into such a situation and is it possible to get out at all. But if we really imagine ourselves in their place, we will realize how difficult and scary it is to escape from such a trap. In a specially designed escape room, participants must escape by solving tasks and discovering codes. Their main mission is to help a victim of exploitation free themselves from the state of helplessness.

The atmosphere in the room is designed to resemble the real environment in which people who have fallen into the networks of traffickers live. The plots are inspired by true stories of people who have suffered from labor and sexual exploitation, who have managed to find a way to salvation and support. In this way, the game becomes an educational tool – it simultaneously raises awareness, builds empathy, and draws attention to the problem, especially among those most at risk.

📣 Be part of the experience that opens your eyes to one of the most serious problems of our time.
