On November 9-11, 2025, we from the BFPA team, together with our partners from the Parents Association and the National Network for Children as a consortium supporting the activities of the National Safer Internet Center, held the final meeting of the ‘Digital Children’ project.

For three days, real creative work was in full swing – young people from Pleven, Stara Zagora, Dupnitsa, Pernik and Sofia, together with their leaders, presented the campaigns they had implemented among their classmates after the trainings under the project. The results truly impressed all of us. Committed young people who implemented meaningful and creative initiatives dedicated to safe and responsible online behavior. The participants exchanged experiences and good practices, ideas and inspirations, talked about the challenges they had encountered and how they had overcome them, shared what they thought and what they would change in future similar endeavors.

The main part of the seminar turned into a real celebration for the young people, and they joined forces and invested energy and cooperation with each other to create short videos on topics that really excite them. The creation process brought them a lot of enthusiasm and positive emotions, and the creative atmosphere showed how many artistic and courageous talents are hidden in the hall. We had to form a working group that will help us finalize the initiative for the idea of creating content and launching an online campaign for online safety, and in particular, the impact of the increasingly widely used in our everyday lives tools and applications of artificial intelligence.

We are grateful that together we are looking for opportunities for our messages to reach more young people. Congratulations to all participants and partners for their dedication, inspiration and teamwork! ❤️

The Digital Children project is implemented by the Bulgarian Family Planning Association (BFPA) in partnership with the National Network for Children, the Parents Association and the National Safer Internet Center, within the framework of the Consortium for the Development of the National Safer Internet Center.
