More than 140 people, incl. young people from member organizations based across the country participated in a series of workshops as part of the National Children’s Network Annual Meeting. The active work of the groups for justice, health, family and education currently contributes to the visionary goal and mission of the largest organization in the country working for the interest of the children of Bulgaria. At the end of the second day, as a result of the work of these groups, the advocacy priorities and more than 60 measures to become part of the family policy vision 2030 were determined.

✅Need for more psychologists in the “Child Protection” department.
✅Development of a Strategy for the child.
✅Health education with specific standards.
✅Strategy to increase the percentage of vaccinated children.
✅Modern school libraries and an accessible environment.
✅Single-day regime and a greater number of psychologists in school.

✅Inclusion at school – efforts for working team support, as children with special needs can gain knowledge and skills for independent living.
✅Teachers who work with children with special needs should be brave, motivated and stimulated – financially and morally.
✅The focus of education should be on creating skills. Without underestimating knowledge.
✅Framework for quality in secondary education.
✅It is important to have systems that act preventively, not reactively. We need to be able to make the connections between them.
